Thanksgiving wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without Newcastle’s “Pilgrim Stew”

This vintage photo shows Miss June Ellsworth and students making Pilgrim Stew during the week before Thanksgiving in 1984. 25 years later Pilgrim Stew is still a fun part of our Pilgrims and Thanksgiving theme week at Newcastle preschool. June taught for many years at Newcastle and is still a good friend.
