Premier Pre-K for the Salt Lake City Area

Students, ages 4-5 participate in a pre-kindergarten program designed to achieve kindergarten readiness. The curriculum is progressive and children develop a skill set that goes incrementally beyond that which they were exposed to in their 3-4 preschool year. The Newcastle School is located in Draper, but a convenient pre-kindergarten program for residents of Salt Lake City, Sandy and Cottonwood Heights.

Pre-kindergarten students are involved in a balanced and stimulating ten-month experience designed to teach a wide range of skills and concepts. All age groups at our school use uniform weekly social studies themes throughout the year, but each participates in separate age-appropriate activities. Our pre-kindergarten methods stress real-life experiences and learning opportunities. Students become actively involved with new learning materials, art and music while making many discoveries beyond those that they make during their 3-4 preschool year.

Our programs have garnered Best in State awards and have drawn students from all over the state of Utah with a hands-on approach that is age appropriate. Enrolling at Newcastle Preschool

To enroll your child in our preschool classes, review the choices below, then click on the red “Online Enrollment” button to fill out the online inquiry. Before you submit, please pay the enrollment fee by Venmo (@newcastleschool) or returning students can have it applied to their Kindertales account. We will usually confirm your enrollment via email within 48 hours.

Summer Enrollment

Enrollment for our summer program is now open and we will be accepting enrollments until all sessions are full. There is a 5 week minimum requirement. We will be having field trips as part of the AM session. There will be classes on Memorial Day (May 29th) and July 4th.

Camps will be Monday-Friday for Children Ages 3 to 10. Enrollment Fee: $75.00 one time fee (includes a t-shirt and water bottle)

AM Session: 9:00am -1:00pm ($160 per child per week) PM Session: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm ($125 per child per week)

If enrolling for AM & PM, the extended care bundle price is $200 per week (a savings of $85).

Pre-Three Program for 2-3 Year Olds

For children who turn 3 after September 1 and before January 31 of the following year, we currently offer the following classes:

Tue/Thur 12:45 PM tuition for 2024-2025 is $200 annual registration $100

Preschool Programs for 3-4 Year Olds

For children who turn 3 before September 1, we offer the following preschool programs:

Mon/Wed/Fri 8:30 AM $300 tuition/ month and a $130 annual registration fee for 2024-2025 school year

Tue/Thu 8:30 AM tuition for 2024-2025 is $200 annual registration $100

Tue/Thu 8:45 AM tuition for 2024-2025 is $200 annual registration $100

Tue/Thu 12:30 PM tuition for 2024-2025 is $200 annual registration $100

Pre-K Classes For 4-5 Year Olds

This program is intended for children who turn 4 years old before September 1.

Special Two-Day 4-5 Pre-K Classes

These special two-day Pre-K classes are offered as a convenience for parents. They match up to the Tue/Thu 3-4 year old classes (shown above) and allow those who also have a 3-4 year old student to have both siblings attend at the same time. The two-day class is somewhat fast-paced but includes all the academics of the Mon/Wed/Fri (three-day) Pre-K class.
