Phonics and Pre-Reading Training
Teachers are trained to conduct a variety of activities which start children on the road to reading. This begins with the introduction of letter recognition and progresses to letter sounds followed by letter writing. Teachers learn to use a number of mediums and hands-on activities to teach phonics and sight words in an age-appropriate manner.
