Volunteers from Friends for Sight will be doing free vision screenings on this day for all pre-kindergarten students at Newcastle.  These early vision screenings offer a chance to identify any vision disorders that may impact a child's ability to learn and play.  Results are sent home with your child the same day.

During our week of learning about St. Patrick’s Day, we love to have “the wearing of the green.”  We invite all the students and teachers to wear something green and we will explore why green is an important part of the Irish traditions for St. Patrick’s Day.
