At The Newcastle School, students ages 4-5 take part in pre-kindergarten programs designed to achieve kindergarten preparedness. This curriculum is modern and enables children to expand a skill set that goes incrementally beyond what they were taught during the 3-4 preschool year. The Newcastle School is located in Draper, so we are a convenient pre-k curriculum for residents of Cottonwood Heights and other areas of Salt Lake County.
Going to preschool provides children with first experiences like following group directions, socializing with classmates and using supplies in an applied technique. Our lessons make sure that children participate in a balanced, educational ten-month experience that is developed to teach them a comprehensive scope of strengths and wisdom.
What The Newcastle School Gives Students
The Newcastle School wants your child to succeed. All age groups use streamlined weekly social studies themes throughout the year, and each group participates in different age-appropriate learning activities. Our pre-kindergarten methods for 4-5-year-olds emphasize realistic experiences and learning moments. Students become dynamically interested in new learning resources, art and music while making discoveries that are more difficult than discoveries made throughout the 3-4 preschool year.

Our programs have garnered Best in State awards and have drawn students from all over the state of Utah with a hands-on approach that is age appropriate. We want to help your children develop a love of learning and make enrollment at our preschool easy.
Enrolling at Newcastle Preschool
To enroll your child in our preschool classes, review the choices below, then click on the red “Online Enrollment” button to fill out the online inquiry. Before you submit, please pay the enrollment fee by Venmo (@newcastleschool) or returning students can have it applied to their Kindertales account. We will usually confirm your enrollment via email within 48 hours.
Summer Enrollment
Enrollment for our summer program is now open and we will be accepting enrollments until all sessions are full. There is a 5 week minimum requirement. We will be having indoor field trips as part of the AM session. There will be classes on July 4th.
Camps will be Monday-Friday for Children Ages 2 to 10. Enrollment Fee: $75.00 one time fee (includes a t-shirt and water bottle)
AM Session: 9:00am -1:00pm ($160 per child per week) PM Session: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm ($135 per child per week) and get 5% discount for a sibling.
If enrolling for AM & PM, the extended care bundle price is $200 per week (a savings of $85).

Pre-Three Program for 2-3 Year Olds
For children who turn 2 before September 1 of the following year, we currently offer the following classes:
Tue/Th AM tuition for 2025-2026 is $200 a month and annual registration fee $100
Mon/Wed/Fri AM tuition for 2025-2026 is $300 a month and annual registration fee $130
Preschool Programs for 3-4 Year Olds
For children who turn 3 before September 1, we offer the following preschool programs:
Mon/Wed/Fri AM $300 tuition/ month and a $130 annual registration fee for 2025-2026 school year.
Mon/Wed/Fri PM $300 tuition/ month and a $130 annual registration fee for 2025-2026 school year.
Tue/Th AM tuition for 2025-2026 is $200 a month and annual registration fee $100
Pre-K Classes For 4-5 Year Olds
This program is intended for children who turn 4 years old before September 1.
Mon/Tue/Wed/Th/Fri AM tuition $500/month – annual registration fee – $160 for 2025-2026 school year.
Mon/Wed/Fri 8:45 AM $300 tuition/ month and a $130 annual registration fee for 2025-2026 school year.
Mon/Wed/Fri 9:00 AM $300 tuition/ month and a $130 annual registration fee for 2025-2026 school year.
Mon/Wed/Fri 12:30 PM $300 tuition/ month and a $130 annual registration fee for 2025-2026 school year.
Special Two-Day 4-5 Pre-K Classes
These special two-day Pre-K classes are offered as a convenience for parents. They match up to the Tue/Th 3-4 year old classes (shown above) and allow those who also have a 3-4 year old student to have both siblings attend at the same time. The two-day class is somewhat fast-paced but includes all the academics of the Mon/Wed/Fri (three-day) Pre-K class.
