Early Childhood Music Training

Newcastle teachers are trained to conduct fun daily music activities

Each day during summer teacher training, teachers are trained to teach the songs the children will learn throughout the year. The school employs a Music Specialist who conducts the daily music sessions. Our music specialists each play the piano and have expertise developing and conducting music with preschoolers. All classroom teachers assist actively with the daily instruction that takes place in the music room. Additionally, teachers learn and review upcoming songs in each monthly teacher training session.
